Core Strength: Back to Basics Certification – Level 1
This course teaches students the basics and foundation of a Core Strength: back to basics class (level 1). During a 8 week program, students will learn the “back to basic” exercises and tools and learn how to create and instruct an Core Strength class. Students will gain knowledge of the philosophy and formula of Leslie’s custom designed programs.
- This program is suited for fitness, dance, yoga and movement instructors with a current certification and previous teaching experience. It is also suited as a workshop for experienced students who are interested in deepening their wellness practice.
- Classes will meet once a week, two hour sessions either in-person or via video conferencing.

Meet The Instructors
Eliza is certified Pilates and Core Strength instructor, Yogini, and passionate lover of dance, music and the arts.
Eliza assists the Afro Flow Yoga™ team with Public Relations, Marketing and workshop/event coordination. She worked with lululemon athletica in the Boston store for 2+ years and believes in the power of community and grass-roots marketing to create and inspire greatness.

Linda is a Core Strength Instructor in training. She is passionate about soul music, exploring spirituality and core strength training.
Linda currently serves as the Managing Director of Afro Flow Yoga. She worked in Out-of-School Time Education for a decade and plans to focus on the wellness of youth and youth workers upon completing her certification.
